About the Role
We are seeking a talented 3D Generalist with a strong focus on modeling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating detailed and realistic 3D models, as well as a broad range of skills in other areas of 3D production.
Requirements
Requirements:
Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in 3D modeling, including characters, environments, props, and other assets.
Advanced knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, and other 3D modeling software.
Familiarity with real-time engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
Understanding of texturing techniques and software such as Substance Painter.
Knowledge of rigging and animation is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Meta Spark AR knowledge is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality 3D models for use in animations, virtual reality experiences, and other projects.
Optimize models for use in real-time engines, including reducing polygon counts and creating LODs.
Texture models using a variety of techniques, including UV mapping, hand-painting, and photo-sourcing.
Collaborate with other artists and designers to ensure models meet project requirements and standards.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Continuously improve skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
