MINI USA has launched on Meta the MINI G-AR-age experience on Instagram with Playhybrid, showcasing five high-fidelity core models ranging from Electric to Countryman. Leveraging Playhybrid's CHEWI compression technology, this project pushed the limits of social media AR by allowing users to view the exterior, open the doors and look at the car interior, all under 4 MB.
MINI USA is relying on AR to reach a broader consumer base on social media platforms and provide them with better tools to make informed purchasing decisions. AR as also proven to increase brand engagement for owners and prospective owners.
