Knorr Germany reached out to see if we could create an immersive AR effect that would help promote their bouillon line up and bring their mission to life. Knorr promotes the regular consumption of vegetables and home-cooked meals. Unhealthy diets are a world epidemic and Knorr is committed to helping families eat healthy tasty meals.
Our creative team explored many different ideas and finally settled on creating an AR game. Playbybrid's technology was founded by merging the gaming and feature film production pipelines, but we had never yet created an immersive game on Spark AR. The stars aligned for this project. The concept is simple but effective. Using the back-facing camera on their smartphones, users have to find the 3D veggies that are hiding around them to be able to assemble the delicious Knorr seasoned meal. Upon completion, the camera can be switched to snap a quick selfie of the chef!
Like all of our Instagram AR projects, we created the AR video ad that will help users find and interact with the effect. Video ads are key to any successful campaign. We are proud to be able to offer our partners with the full suite of production services for powerful social media AR campaigns.
